I spilt some yoghurt on my breastplate - the one I use for work - I think it was strawberry or it might have been vanilla; however, the point is, it has gone rusty as a more or less direct consequence of the dairy related mishap. Would you by any chance know of a company that specialises in armour refurbishment? Only I need my metal suit for next week. I have to stand perfectly still in it for a week at the foot of a baronial staircase. I am hoping that the staircase is one of those 'inside' ones. I don't like having to hang around outside looking comprehensively metallic in the cold or wet. The wet is especially damaging as it can give rise to rust formation and squeaky joints, so I usually resort to putting up an umbrella. Unfortunately, this tends to spoil the authentic medieval atmosphere that my steely presence is supposed to engender. Ironic, really (when I joined the Corps of Commissionaires Armoured Division, I assumed I would be getting my own tank). Anyway, must go as I have a vambrace to buff up.
